As well as our work here in Australia we regularly travel to other countries introducing them to the benefits of the program. In the past few years we’ve helped to establish Narconon centres in Jakarta, Thailand, Taiwan and Singapore.
Recently Narconon was asked by the Director of the Phillipines Drug Enforcement Agency to meet with members of the Phillipine Government in Manila.
The purpose of these meetings was to deliver training on how to do effective drug education and drug-free withdrawal.
Drug education presentations and workshops were delivered to over 1000 school children in just a few days. The Narconon team also visited Quezon Prison and taught inmates how to give Nerve Assists and Locationals to one another.
The largest rehab centre in the Phillipines is just outside of Manila and is the home to hundreds of child addicts; homeless children who, from a very young age, sniff glue or other inhalents so as not to feel hunger.
The photos on this page were taken during that visit.
We will add more photos and more information about our work in Asia in the near furure.
